Porcelain veneers
Porcelain veneers in Bradenton
Thin ceramic shells bonded to the front of your teeth. Done conservatively, and never before you have seen what you are going to get.

What people actually want to know
How much do veneers cost in Bradenton?+
At Lake Dental most veneers run $1,100 to $1,900 per tooth depending on the case. Cosmetic work is rarely covered by dental insurance, so we price it clearly up front and offer payment plans. Bite Club members receive 15 percent off.
How many veneers do I actually need?+
It depends on how wide your smile shows when you smile fully. Most people need six to eight to get an even result across the front. Occasionally a single veneer on one damaged tooth is all that is required, and we will say so rather than sell you a set.
Do veneers ruin your teeth?+
A conservative veneer removes about half a millimetre of enamel from the front surface only. It is not reversible, which is exactly why we take it slowly, show you a preview and talk through whitening and bonding first if those would get you most of the way there.
How long do porcelain veneers last?+
Ten to fifteen years is a fair expectation, longer with care. What shortens them is grinding, biting nails or opening packaging with your front teeth. If you grind, a night guard is part of the plan, not an upsell.
The longer answer on porcelain veneers
We show you first
Nothing is cut until you have seen the plan. We scan your teeth, design the proposed shape and length digitally, and where it helps we mock the result up in your mouth in temporary material so you can look in a mirror and live with it for an afternoon. If the length is wrong or the shape is too uniform for your face, that is the moment to change it.
Veneers, bonding or whitening?
These solve different problems and they cost very different amounts.
- Whitening changes colour only. If your teeth are well shaped and well aligned and you simply want them lighter, start here. It is the cheapest option by a wide margin.
- Cosmetic bonding repairs a chip or closes a small gap in one visit with composite. Less durable than porcelain, far cheaper, and reversible.
- Veneers change shape, colour, length and apparent alignment together. They are the right answer when several of those are the problem at once.
Dr. Stanisic will tell you which of the three fits your case. Being talked out of veneers is a normal outcome of a veneer consultation here.
The appointments
Visit one: preparation, scan, and temporary veneers you leave in. Visit two, usually two weeks later: try in, check the shade in daylight, adjust, then bond. You can change your mind about shade at the try-in. That is what a try-in is for.
Looking after them
Brush and floss normally. Porcelain does not stain the way natural enamel does, but the cement line at the gum can pick up colour, so the usual coffee and red wine advice still applies. Wear the night guard if you have been given one. Do not use your front teeth as tools.

Questions about porcelain veneers
Asked and answered
Will people be able to tell?+
Not if the plan is right. Perfectly identical, perfectly white teeth look artificial. We build in slight variation in length and translucency so the result reads as your teeth on a good day.
Does insurance cover veneers?+
Rarely, because most plans class them as cosmetic. If a veneer is restoring a fractured tooth there may be partial cover, and we will submit for it.
Can I whiten my other teeth afterwards?+
Whiten first. Porcelain does not lighten, so we match the veneers to the shade you intend to keep.
What if one chips?+
Small chips can often be polished or repaired in composite. A badly fractured veneer is remade. Call us and we will look at it the same week.
Thinking about veneers?
Come in for a consultation and see the design before anything is prepared. If whitening or bonding would do the job, we will tell you.
