Straight answers
Paying for your care
How much does a dental visit cost?+
A new patient exam with x-rays and a cleaning runs $180 to $350 without insurance. Bite Club members have exams, cleanings and needed x-rays included.
Do you take my insurance?+
In-network with DNOA, GEHA, Aetna II and Careington PPO plans. Other plans can still be used out-of-network. Call 941.322.7711 to check yours.
Is there an option with no insurance?+
Bite Club: $43 a month for adults, $69 for perio, $34 for children twelve and under, with a one-off $99 activation that includes the first month.
Questions
More on cost and cover
Do you offer payment plans?+
Yes. Larger treatment plans can be spread over monthly payments, and Bite Club spreads routine care across the year by design. Ask at the treatment plan discussion and we will set out the options in writing.
Will you tell me the price before you start?+
Always. After your exam you get a written treatment plan with the cost of each item, what your insurance is expected to pay and what you owe. Nothing begins until you have seen that and said yes.
Is Bite Club insurance?+
No, and that is the point. It is a membership agreement directly with this practice. There are no claim forms, no waiting periods, no annual maximum and no pre-approval. You save $73 a year on the adult plan against paying for the same visits separately.
What if my insurance is not one you are in-network with?+
You can still be treated here and still use your benefits. Out-of-network usually means your plan reimburses a slightly lower percentage. We file the claim on your behalf either way, and we will estimate your share before treatment.
