How long do clear aligners take?+
Most cases run six to eighteen months. Mild crowding or a relapse after childhood braces can finish in six months. A bite that needs real correction takes longer. We show you the projected timeline from your 3D scan before you decide.
How much do clear aligners cost in Bradenton?+

Do clear aligners hurt?+
There is pressure and tenderness for a day or two after each new tray, similar to the day after a tight brace adjustment. It is much less than fixed braces because there is nothing sharp and nothing to rub. Most people switch trays before bed so they sleep through the worst of it.
Can I take them out for a wedding or a work photo?+
Yes, that is the point of them. They need twenty-two hours a day to stay on schedule, so an hour or two out is fine. Leaving them out for a whole day repeatedly is what stretches treatment.

What SureSmile treats well
Crowding, gaps, mild to moderate crossbite, overbite and the very common relapse where teeth drift back years after childhood braces. It is not the answer for every bite. Severe skeletal discrepancies and some rotations genuinely do better with fixed braces, and Dr. Stanisic will tell you that at the consultation rather than after you have paid.
How the consultation works
Your first visit is free and takes about forty-five minutes. We take a digital 3D scan of your teeth, discuss what specifically bothers you about your smile, and put together a plan and a fixed quote. There is no obligation, and you leave with the numbers in writing.
Living with aligners
- Wear them twenty-two hours a day. Out for meals, out for brushing, in the rest of the time.
- Drink water with them in. Coffee, tea and anything sugary go in with the trays out, or they stain and trap sugar against the enamel.
- Rinse the trays in cool water each time. Hot water warps the plastic.
- Keep the previous tray until the next one has been in a week, in case one is lost.
After treatment
Teeth move for life, which is why the relapse cases exist. A retainer worn nightly is not optional, and we would rather be blunt about it now than see you back in five years. Retainers are included in the discussion of your plan so the cost is never a surprise.
